About our therapist
Hello! I’m Kavya, a counselling psychologist based in Hyderabad. I hold a Master’s in Counselling Psychology from Montfort College (2021) and have four years of experience working with adults (ages 18–40), addressing a range of concerns including, but not limited to, trauma, anxiety, body image, self-esteem, relationship issues, and work-life balance.
My approach is eclectic, queer affirmative, trauma-informed, and guided by a feminist lens that considers the impact of systemic structures on individual well-being. I aim to offer a space where you feel heard, supported, and safe to untangle the complexities of life with compassion
I speak Telugu and English, and can communicate briefly in Hindi. Outside of therapy, I enjoy engaging in arts and share my home with an anxious, affectionate dog.
